Technical Officer, Mobility (EV Charging Stations) -Islandwide
Job summary
A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is looking for a Technical Officer, Mobility to maintain EV charging stations. The role involves planning and coordinating maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and liaising with various teams. Candidates should possess a diploma in engineering and strong analytical skills, with the ability to work odd hours when necessary. A valid Class 3 Driving License is required, and having personal transportation is preferred.
Qualifications
- Diploma in a relevant Engineering field from any of the recognized Polytechnics in Singapore.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with contractors, customers, and internal teams.
- Ability to work odd timings, ad-hoc tasks, and during public holidays if necessary.
- Possession of a valid Class 3 Driving License.
- Prefer candidates with their own transportation.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate maintenance of EV charging stations.
- Carry out maintenance of EV chargers for certain station models.
- Attend customers’ enquiries and coordinate with landlords.
- Ensure records are filed properly and data updated promptly.
- Perform backend monitoring of EV charging stations network.
- Respond to and troubleshoot issues related to hardware/firmware.
- Liaise with internal teams for seamless service delivery.
- Maintain inventory of tools and spare parts.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and recommend enhancements.
- Assist in evaluating contractor performance.
- Perform standby duty during and after office hours.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday (8am- 5.30pm)
Contract Period: 1 year Renewable + Convertible + Bonus
Location: Islandwide
- Plan and coordinate the maintenance of EV charging stations with the contractors.
- Carry out maintenance of EV chargers for certain EV charging station / battery charger swap station models.
- Attend to customers’ enquiries and coordinate with landlords before the commencement of maintenance work.
- Ensure records are filed properly and data are updated promptly in the system. Prepare and collate information for monthly reports.
- Perform backend monitoring of the EV charging stations network using the Charging Station Management System and carry out basic diagnostics of issues.
- Respond to and troubleshoot issues/interruptions related to EV charging station hardware/firmware.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. Engineering, Customer Operations) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain an inventory of tools, spare parts and maintenance equipment, ensuring availability for site work.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and recommend enhancements (e.g. to maintenance procedures, reporting workflows).
- Assist in evaluating contractor performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Perform standby duty during and after office hours for network incidents and special events.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Diploma in a relevant Engineering field from any of the recognized Polytechnics in Singapore.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, able to interpret technical data and logs from charging systems.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with contractors, customers, and internal teams.
- Ability to work on odd timings upon activation, ad-hoc tasks beyond work scope and public holidays and weekends if necessary.
- Have a valid Class 3 Driving License.
- Prefer candidates with their own transportation for travelling to sites.
