Coilcraft Industries Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Supplier Quality Engineer to join our thriving team in the Bedok East region. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance across our supply chain. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What you'll be doing
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive supplier quality assurance programmes to ensure incoming materials and components meet stringent quality standards.
  • Conducting on-site supplier audits and inspections to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Analyzing quality data, trends and metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality-related problems.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to suppliers to help them enhance their quality management systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant quality standards, regulations and customer requirements.
  • Documenting quality processes and procedures and maintaining accurate quality records.
What we're looking for
  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related field.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of quality management systems, statistical process control and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret quality metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with relevant quality standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
