We are looking for an experienced Application Engineer with a strong background in Java development, project management, and business analysis, to provide application and operational support for Trade Finance platforms. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing technology solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Solution Design & Implementation:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for Trade Finance initiatives.
Design, develop, test, and implement technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs.
Review and validate work products from business users, vendors, and technical teams.
Build relationships and communicate the value of technology solutions effectively. - Problem Solving & Management:
Identify and solve technical problems using analysis and experience.
Manage production support and resolve incidents to minimize business impact.
Conduct vendor negotiations to ensure cost-effective and reliable IT solutions. - Code Packaging & CI/CD:
Design and implement efficient code packaging strategies and CI/CD pipelines for smooth software delivery.
Develop automated tools for code packaging, versioning, artifact management, and deployment.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration. - Requirement Management:
Validate and prioritize business requirements to ensure alignment with technical solutions. - Continuous Improvement:
Drive process improvements for better efficiency and quality of implementations.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in development, project management, and business analysis.
- Strong proficiency in:
Frontend: Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Backend: Java, Spring Boot, OpenJDK, MariaDB, Oracle, MS SQL, Python, KAFKA, Unix Commands
Middleware: JBOSS, MQ, Maxscale, Connect Direct
DevOps: Linux, Windows, Apache HTTP Server, TWS Job Scheduling, CI/CD Deployment Process - Solid understanding of project management and SDLC processes.

- Ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate for IT solutions.
