Responsibilities
- Oversee the full procurement lifecycle, including sourcing local and international suppliers, negotiating contracts, and issuing purchase orders.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, pricing, and reliability.
- Manage company facilities, logistics, and shipping operations for both local and international activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, ISO standards, and HSE requirements.
- Administer all company licensing, insurance renewals, and vehicle maintenance and registration.
- Resolve supplier disputes and address issues related to delivery, quality, or performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project planning and procurement requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels, maintain accurate records, and forecast future needs to ensure optimal stock.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of practical procurement experience, preferably within M&E, construction, engineering, facilities management, or manufacturing industries.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple procurement projects concurrently.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of Singapore’s procurement regulations and industry best practices.
