Our client, a prestigious private bank, is seeking a Third Party Risk Specialist to join them.
Role
This role will be critical in managing the bank's exposure to risk arising from its relationships with third-party vendors, service providers, and outsourcing partners. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all third party engagements are aligned with the bank's regulatory obligations, internal risk frameworks, and operational resilience standards.
The position requires a strong understanding of third party risk management principles, including due diligence, onboarding, risk assessments, performance monitoring, and contract governance. Working closely with stakeholders across procurement, compliance, legal, operational risk, technology, and front-office teams, the Specialist will assess third party risks across various dimensions such as information security, financial viability, data privacy, regulatory compliance, and business continuity.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in implementing or overseeing third party risk programs within a financial institution, preferably within private or commercial banking. Familiarity with global and regional regulatory guidelines is important, along with a practical understanding of how these regulations translate into internal policy and operational controls. The role will also require the ability to identify emerging risks, maintain vendor risk inventories, and contribute to internal and external audits or regulatory reviews.
