This role supports the department in planning, implementing, and delivering pharmaceutical services at EGH. The Senior Pharmacist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide pharmaceutical care, optimise drug therapy, and ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective medication use.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Deliver pharmaceutical care and drug information services to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Identify, resolve, and prevent drug-related problems to improve patient outcomes
  • Educate patients, caregivers, pharmacy students, and healthcare providers
  • Participate in quality improvement, and evidence-based practice initiatives
  • Support the department in staff development, welfare, and implementation of pharmacy programmes
  • Lead and mentor junior pharmacists and pharmacy support staff
  • Manage projects and contribute to change processes within the department
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of care and services
Requirements
  • Degree in Pharmacy recognised by the Singapore Pharmacy Council
  • Fully registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council
  • Holds a current practising certificate in Singapore
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with demonstrated competency
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Experience in project and change management
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Able to work in high pressure and dynamic environments
