About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Finance Manager to join our team at Mooreast Asia Pte Ltd in the Shipyard West Region. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting Head of Corporate Finance / Financial Controller in steering the company's financial strategy and operations, ensuring financial stability and growth while aligning financial strategies with overarching business objectives.

Job description

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the Company’s long-term goals and objectives.

• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial projections.

• Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.

Cash Flow Management

• Monitor and manage the Company’s cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs

• Develop strategies for optimizing working capital and managing debt.

Risk Management

• Identify and mitigate financial risks, including credit, market, operational, and liquidity risks.

• Implement and monitor internal control to safeguard the Company’s assets.

Investment Management

• Evaluate investment opportunities and provide recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors.

• Develop financial models, perform financial due diligence and evaluate potential M&A or investment projects which includes overseeing deal process, negotiating commercial terms and supporting any other business development;

Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and corporate governance requirements.

Job requirement

• Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Accountancy/ ACCA or equivalent.

• Able to work independently with minimum supervision

• Strong leadership traits and analytical skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• At least 7-10 years of relevant working experience

• Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

• Excellent Mandarin and English communication skills require to manage Mandarin speaking internal and external stakeholders and staff.
