A leading chartered accountant firm is seeking an Audit Manager/Partner who will be responsible for overseeing audit teams and maintaining client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a recognized accounting degree and relevant experience in public accounting, and be bilingual to assist Mandarin-speaking clients. This permanent position offers a competitive salary up to SGD 16,000 plus bonuses, along with attractive benefits.

Job description

  • Position : Audit Manager/Partner (Able to sign off all Audit Reports) - Up To $16,000
  • Location : City Hall - Near MRT
  • Working hours : Monday to Friday | 9am to 6pm
  • Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $16,000 + Performance Bonus of Average one month + 18 days annual leaves + Medical Benefits
  • Duration : Permanent
  • Industry : Chartered Accountant firm


Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of audit professionals, fostering growth and ensuring high performance.
  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of audit clients, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of engagements.
  • Manage end-to-end audit assignments, including planning, fieldwork execution, and final review, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to engagement teams on complex audit and accounting matters.
  • Work closely with Audit Partners on client management, risk assessment, and strategic engagement planning.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for new business and service expansion.
  • Review audit working papers, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and escalate key findings to partners.
  • Prepare management letters detailing internal control weaknesses and provide actionable recommendations.


Requirements:
  • A recognized degree in Accountancy or professional accounting qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CPA Australia or equivalent
  • Eligible to sign off all audit reports
  • Relevant experience with large/medium size public accounting firms
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only.
