Job description

Job Title: Head of Accounting and Tax
Monthly Salary: UP to $8500 (Negotiable)
Working Address: OUE Downtown Gallery

Working hours: Monday to Friday. 9am to 6pm

Responsibilities and duties
• To manage a team of 5 accountants with a large client base in industries such as
manufacturing, research, retail, construction, property, oil & gas, charities, investment, metals,
design, consulting, and start-ups.
• Review the accountants work and provide training if needed.
• To ensure that we provide accurate information to our clients and the local authorities so that
all their statutory obligations are met; these includes filing tax returns with IRAS and Financial
Statements with ACRA
• Hands-on Bookkeeping and oversee daily accounting operations, including month-end closing
procedures, audits, and annual reporting for a portfolio of blue-chip clients.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and forecast cash flow to maintain financial stability.
• Manage payroll operations and assist in budgeting and cost analysis.
• Prepare and file corporation tax, employer tax, and GST returns.

Qualification and Requirements
• Diploma/degree in accounting with minimum of 10 years of full spectrum accounting and tax
compliance experience, preferably from related industry.
• CPA / ACCA or its equivalents is a plus.

Desired Experiences:
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel, XERO, MYOB, SAP. Payday and any other accounting
software is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize projects to meet tight deadlines.
