Job description

Job Description:

● Oversee accounting departments, including budget preparation, cash flow management, and audit processes.

● Conduct monthly stock takes and ensure accurate financial reporting.

● Prepare financial statements, bank reconciliations, and income statements in compliance with financial regulations.

● Preparation and submission of quarterly GST filings, monthly income statements and balance sheets, and annual financial reports.

● Maintain proficiency in billing and invoicing procedures.

● Ensure timely and accurate reporting using accounting systems, including XERO.

● Maintain a well-structured and up-to-date finance folder for audit and reporting purposes.

● Ensure seamless integration and reporting between finance and admissions functions.

● Build and maintain strong rapport with cross-functional teams, vendors, and key stakeholders.

● Collaborate with management to provide insights that support decision-making

● Responsible for the preparation and submission of all tax returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.

● Prepare and file Annual Returns with ACRA in a timely and accurate manner.

● Any other duties as assigned by the Director and management

Requirements:

● Bachelor of Accountancy or relevant accounting qualification, including ISCA, ACCA, CPA, etc

● Minimum 5 years relevant experience in auditing and/or accounting role and at least 3 year in managerial capacity

● Prior experience in education industry is an added advantage

● Prior system implementation experiences advantageous

● Proactive, independent with good attention to detail

● Team player with excellent interpersonal skills

● Able to engage with team members and other internal and external stakeholders

● Strong oral and written communication skills
