Description
- Support the Finance Director in shaping and executing financial policies and long-term planning initiatives aligned with the company's strategic direction
- Oversee core finance functions including transactional accounting, payroll, and month-end close, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance
- Deliver financial modelling and performance analysis to evaluate business cases, investment viability, and profitability improvement opportunities
- Work closely with functional heads and operational teams to embed financial accountability, guide budgeting processes, and support strategic initiatives through informed decision-making
- Enhance internal controls, oversee financial risk assessments, and support governance around capital allocation and investment decisions
- Stay abreast of regulatory developments and market dynamics to proactively assess impact on business operations and advise senior leadership
- Lead and develop a capable finance team, promoting a high-performance and collaborative culture
- Prepare detailed financial updates and dashboards for senior executives and relevant external parties, including board-level insights and investment summaries
- Represent the finance function in dealings with auditors, banks, and external advisors, ensuring transparency and alignment
Profile
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; professional qualifications such as CPA. ACCA or MBA would be an advantage
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including demonstrated leadership in finance and experience in business partnering
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret financial data and contribute to strategic business decisions
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, corporate finance practices, and regulatory compliance
- Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively across functions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders
- Candidates with experience in government-linked companies (GLCs) and/or multinational corporations (MNCs) are encouraged to apply, regardless of industry background
