Job summary
A reputable employment consultancy in Singapore is seeking a diligent Accounts Assistant to support their finance department. The role involves day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry and maintaining records. Candidates should have a minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent and will benefit from opportunities for growth into senior finance roles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is required, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications

- 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Responsibilities
- Assist in data entry, bookkeeping, and maintaining financial records.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
- Prepare and issue invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts.

We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our finance department with day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to grow in the field of accounting and gain hands‑on experience in various financial tasks.
- Assist in data entry, bookkeeping, and maintaining proper records of financial transactions
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
- Prepare and issue invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
- Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing processes
- Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts
- Maintain proper filing and documentation
- Support ad‑hoc administrative and finance-related duties as assigned
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level, ITE, or Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
- 1‑2 years of relevant experience preferred (entry‑level candidates may be considered)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB)
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
