A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a finance officer to manage daily finance operations, ensure compliance with tax filings, and produce monthly reports. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience, preferably in the construction industry, and possess strong communication skills. This role offers a supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of working experience, ideally in the construction industry.
- Ability to maintain normal operations of multiple application systems.
- Demonstrated ethical behavior and discretion.
Responsabilités
- Conduct daily finance operations including ledger and journals.
- Responsible for monthly financial closing and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with payments and tax filings.
- Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Connaissances
Formation
- Location: Location: Tampines (Relocating to Woodlands in October 2025)
- Working Hours: 5 days (8am to 5:30pm)
- Handle daily finance operations, which include but not limited to General Ledger, General Journals, Accounts Receivables, and Accounts Payables
- Responsible for monthly closing, and produce timely and accurate monthly reports to management
- Ensure that payments are made in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of GST and corporate tax filing
- Ensure all the filings are up to date
- Able to communicate effectively with internal and external parties
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
- Degree/ Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 2 years of working experience in Construction Industry will be a plus
- Able to maintain normal day-to-day operation of multiple application systems
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly ethical, discreet, and able to maintain confidentiality
