We are looking for a Sales Executive to support the growth of our overseas operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans for the overseas market(s).
- Build and maintain relationships with retail and distribution partners to drive brand visibility and sales growth.
- Conduct regular visits to the assigned overseas market(s) to attend meetings, gather market intelligence and consumer insights.
- Coordinate closely with distributors, retailers, and marketing agencies to ensure timely execution of promotional activities and product launches.
- Monitor market trends and gather feedback from partners to support ongoing market analysis.
- Track sales performance and provide regular reports and updates to both the General Manager and Regional Sales Manager.
- Explore and propose new or revised business model approaches for route-to-market efficiencies, including but not limited to third-party and fourth-party logistics.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in FMCG or consumer goods.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and drive results across borders are welcomed.
- Experience in the Southeast Asian market, with the Vietnam and/or Philippines market experience being highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of consumer goods relating to confectionary, cacao, chocolate and/or nutrition will be considered favourably.
- Experience working in or with Japanese companies are preferred but not mandatory.
- For candidates to be considered for the Vietnam job scope, proficiency in Vietnamese is required to liaise with the Vietnam local partners and retailers.
- Overseas travel is expected anywhere between 10% to 50% of the time, depending on the ambit of the overseas markets.
