We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team on a 1-year contract. You will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the organisation.
- Collaborate with business process owners to gather and document dashboard/reporting requirements.
- Analyse business processes and reporting needs to design effective BI solutions.
- Create dashboard specifications and wireframes.
- Acquire, clean, and mine data from various sources to uncover trends and insights.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
- Apply statistical techniques (descriptive and inferential) to analyse data.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using BI tools.
- Work with databases and data sources to build and query data models.
- Support broader innovation efforts through ad-hoc assignments.
- Tertiary qualification in IT, Business Analytics, or Advanced Diploma in data-related fields.
- Proficient in SQL and Advanced Excel.
- Skilled in data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense, and Microsoft Access.
- Strong understanding of visual communication principles.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Knowledge of programming for advanced statistical analysis is a plus.
