Job summary
A local job service provider in Singapore is seeking an individual to manage audio-visual and public address systems. Responsibilities include training crew, maintaining PA systems, and managing AV equipment for events. Candidates should have a diploma in a related field with 1 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a school environment. Knowledge in AV equipment and IT troubleshooting is preferred. This role offers a chance to enhance technical and operational skills within a supportive environment.
Qualifications

- Candidates should be well-versed in AV equipment and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Train the PA crew to manage Public Address System during events.
- Maintain PA systems and coordinate with vendors for issues.
- Manage AV equipment during all major events.

- Train the PA crew (comprises of pupil volunteers) to take charge of the Public Address System equipment / service during events;
- Maintain PA systems in the organization monitor, troubleshoot, provide maintenance and escalate unresolved problems to relevant vendors; coordinate with vendors on site where installation and repair works are required.
- Manage AV equipment during all major events.
- Handle all AV set-up requests for events ensure requests made by staff and external parties (pre-approved by P/VP) are met.
- Maintain inventory and loan records of AV and PA-related equipment.
- Provide consultation to HOD (IT) on the AV needs of the event and work with vendors to propose solutions that meet the PA / AVA needs of the event in terms of technical specifications and market pricing.
- Assist the HOD (IT) in the purchase of AV equipment and services based on events needs (through bulk tenders, calling tenders and quotations), bearing in mind the Compliance Guidelines for the organization on Procurement.
- Provide assistance in the condemnation of AV Resources.
- Manage AV equipment in classrooms and all other special rooms and monitor the equipment usage and maintenance on a termly basis.
- Provide support for broadcast studio usage;
- Maintain the organization TV broadcast system.
- Minimum Olevel/NITEC/HNITEC/Diploma in related field
- Minimum 1 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Prior working experience in school environments is preferred
- Candidates should be well versed in AV equipment, AV setup and deployment.
- Candidates who have knowledge in IT troubleshooting will be preferred.
