Role Overview
As an Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing crypto asset accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes. This position requires a seasoned accounting professional with strong technical expertise in multi-currency and crypto asset environments. You will work closely with senior management and internal stakeholders to ensure Binance’s financial records are accurate, audit-ready, and in line with global standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager and other departments to define and implement accounting treatments for complex, crypto-specific scenarios
- Manage crypto asset accounting processes and produce relevant financial reports
- Perform high-volume data reconciliation across multiple systems and blockchain networks
- Support historical financial cleanup initiatives, ensuring completeness and audit readiness
- Handle a variety of crypto-related accounting tasks, staying updated on compliance and regulatory developments
- Assist finance system project leads by providing insights related to internal financial systems and their integration
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial workflows, reporting accuracy, and efficiency
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA or CPA certification is a strong plus
- Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in accounting operations or external/internal audit
- Proven expertise in multi-currency accounting and handling complex financial data
- Experience in crypto asset accounting is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, showing strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Proficiency in finance systems and Excel; experience with ERP systems or automation tools is a bonus
- Some financial consolidation experience is desirable
- Independent, self-motivated, and capable of managing time and priorities effectively
