About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore within the Finance Department, the Assistant Accounting Manager – Income Audit is responsible for managing the hotel Income Audit operations. The Assistant Accounting Manager reports to the Assistant Director of Finance.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Managing hotel Income Audit operations.
2. Preparing financial revenue reports.
3. Performing revenue internal control audits.
4. Preparing revenue financial analysis.
5. Performing balance sheet reconciliations.
6. Managing accounting and internal control procedures.
7. Understanding internal controls in the hospitality industry.
8. Liaising with auditors, bankers, and tax agents regarding statutory audits and tax reporting and compliance.
9. Cross-functional duties, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

Candidate requirements:

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ level or equivalent certification.
• ACCA or recognized accounting qualifications preferred.
• Relevant accounting experience in the hospitality industry with at least 2 years of managerial and accounts payable supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with hotel PMS, POS, Sun Accounting System, and Hyperion System is an advantage.
