Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to take ownership of our full accounting operations and lead a lean but growing finance team. You’ll be hands-on with month-end closing, audits, tax, and compliance, while also mentoring junior team members. Ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building efficient accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day accounting functions, including GL, AR, AP, and cash flow

• Manage timely and accurate month-end and year-end close

• Prepare and review financial statements and reconciliations

• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities

• Oversee statutory and tax compliance (IRAS, GST, etc.)

• Drive improvements in financial workflows, controls, and reporting

• Mentor and train the finance team (including ACCA-qualified junior)

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes

• Take initiative in finance transformation and automation projects
  

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• At least 8 years of full set accounting experience

• Prior team management experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting and tax standards

• Experience in SMEs or startups preferred (hands-on culture)

• Familiar with cloud accounting systems (e.g. Xero, NetSuite, SAP B1)

• Strong attention to detail, communication, and mentoring mindset
