Job summary

A financial services firm based in Singapore is seeking a Wealth Planner to deliver holistic wealth planning advice to high-net-worth clients. The ideal candidate should possess at least 10 years of experience in wealth planning or private banking and have strong skills in client relationship management. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred, along with a degree in a relevant field and STEP certification. This role is essential for implementing succession planning and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Job description
What You'll Do:
  • Partner with Relationship Managers to provide holistic wealth planning advice to HNW clients in North and South East Asia.
  • Design and implement strategies for succession planning, tax optimization, and asset protection.
  • Advise on trust structures, insurance solutions, and cross-border planning considerations.
  • Stay ahead of regulatory developments and ensure compliance with MAS and international standards.
What We're Looking For:
  • Degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, or related field; STEP certification preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in wealth planning, trust advisory, or private banking.
  • Strong technical knowledge of estate planning, tax, and fiduciary services.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Mandarin language skills preferred.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • 10 to 15 years' experience as wealth planner, trust manager/officer or private client legal advisor covering South East Asia or North Asia.
  • STEP qualification and a legal qualification is a plus.
  • Ability to speak Mandarin is preferred.
  • Ability to view wealth planning holistically and incorporate various wealth management disciplines.
  • Strong technical knowledge.
  • Client centric skills including excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative, able to work with and through others.
  • Singapore citizen or Permanent Resident.
