Job summary

A leading chemical manufacturing company in Singapore is looking for a responsible individual to oversee day-to-day repacking operations, manage chemical blending, and ensure quality compliance. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a related environment and be able to communicate in basic English. Physically demanding tasks like lifting and standing for extended periods are required. This role also involves sampling products and participating in an emergency response team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 15kg.
  • Comfortable working in a chemical manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day repacking operations including chemical blending.
  • Work with lab on tests to meet quality specifications.
  • Perform entry of process parameters for traceability.
  • Sampling of products to support technical and quality requirements.
  • Packing goods for deliveries.
  • Member of the Emergency Response Team.
  • Inspect operating equipment for safe operation.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the day-to-day Repacking operations, including chemical blending and the repacking process.
  • To work with lab on the lab test to meet Quality specs after each blending and repacking process before goods can be release for shipments.
  • Perform entry of process parameters for repacking and blending process for record traceability.
  • Sampling of products to support Technical and Quality requirements.
  • Packing of goods after repacking for customer deliveries.
  • Member of the Emergency Response Team
  • Inspection of all operating equipment to ensure the equipment is functioning and operate in safely manner.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisors.
Experience, Qualification and other information
  • ITE/ GCE O level/ GCE N level or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment or a related environment
  • Ability to speak and write basic English for work purposes
  • Comfortable working in a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to differentiate colour for work purposes
