We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Warehouse Team Lead to oversee all aspects of our specialized warehouse operations. This role is pivotal in managing complex material logistics, ensuring strict regulatory compliance, and driving the performance and development of the warehouse team.
As the Warehouse Team Lead, you will be responsible for the compliant execution and continuous optimization of our logistics chain, including:
Establish, manage, and optimize business processes and systems for raw material, intermediate, and finished product logistics, including shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory control.
Execute material logistics within a cGMP environment, specifically including the receiving, sampling, storage, and issuance of hazardous raw materials.
Plan and manage daily warehouse operations to ensure strict adherence to cGMP standards and safety guidelines.
Perform accurate data entry into SAP and other relevant databases, ensuring full departmental compliance with internal policies.
Oversee inventory checks and cycle counts, and process raw materials for return, rejection, and/or destruction.
Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and forms, and manage environmental checks and record lifecycle (creation, collection, storage).
Lead efforts to maintain continuous Warehouse inspection readiness.
Initiate, manage, and drive to closure all Change Requests, Discrepancies, and Corrective Actions/Preventive Actions (CAPAs) related to the Warehouse.
Act as the primary Warehouse representative in cross-functional meetings and take the lead role during regulatory and compliance inspections.
Ensure strict adherence to cGMPs, local regulations (e.g., NEA, SCDF, SPF, HSA), and Roche Global Warehouse policies/procedures.
Lead, motivate, and mentor direct reports to achieve department and company goals.
Establish, maintain, and report on critical Performance Indicators (KPIs/PHIs) on a weekly and monthly basis.
Manage the performance planning process and foster continuous learning and developmental opportunities for all staff.
Oversee and ensure the timely completion of all Warehouse personnel GMP training assignments.
Lead and drive significant warehouse improvement projects, including investigation, analysis, solution formulation, and documentation.
Actively support and embody the Lean Production System behaviors and performance, fostering a continuous improvement mindset.
Comply with and enforce all RSTO’s SHE requirements, taking ownership of safety initiatives within the area of responsibility.
Ensure the team is competent, trained, and equipped to work safely and without health risks.
To be successful in this highly specialized role, you will need a combination of education, experience, and strong operational skills:
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Logistics & Supply Chain, or an equivalent discipline.
Minimum five (5) years of related working experience for degree holders, or equivalent experience with a combination of education and work experience is preferred.
Essential: Prior experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical environment is required.
Must have a working knowledge of cGMP concepts and guidelines.
Strong Organization and Prioritization Skills:
Ability to plan work efficiently and accurately.
Ability to analyze reports and trend activities.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities effectively.
Strong Communication Skills:
Excellent written communication skills for preparing reports and memos.
Effective oral communication skills for conducting meetings and presentations.
Ability to interact professionally and effectively with multi-disciplinary groups.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency with computer applications and business operations software systems.
Good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) is essential.
Operational Requirements:
Ability to work in a highly cooperative team environment.
Flexibility in duty assignment and ability to work overtime as required due to the job nature.
Hands‑on forklift operator training, experience, and certification is desired due to the job nature.
