Reporting to the GM, the Operations Executive/ AM’s primary responsibility is to oversee and ensure smooth the day to day operations of the company, and support the company to hit growth targets and sales goal.
Inventory
- Update, maintain and keep accurate inventory records in system on a consistent basis.
- Monitor stock depletion and manage weekly stock withdrawals from external (bonded) warehouse and propose purchase requisition from suppliers to ensure optimal stock level at all times.
- Process internal stock transfers.
- Verify the accuracy of stock movements by conducting detail audits of the inventory on a regular basis.
- Report stock loss/ damage; investigate inventory errors and reconcile stock discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Track goods returns, investigate all the potential causes and suggest corrective measures for improvement.
- Oversee quarterly stock take.
- Work closely with warehouse team to create and implement effective inventory control procedures.
Operations
- Oversee daily business operations and addressing operational issues.
- Supervise warehouse and logistics team, including fleet and warehouse management, and backup when required.
- Responsible for enforcing company policies and procedures within the office.
- Liaise with different departments to improve performance and work efficiency.
- Evaluate current work processes and recommend improvements.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and operational guidelines for staff.
- Educate operations team on best practices, company policies and service excellence standards.
- Ensure warehouse and fire safety are compliant with government regulations.
- Oversees warehouse/logistics equipment, property management and maintenance.
- Support the Sales and Marketing team in implementing activities and event-related operational requirements.
- Generate operational reports for management as needed.
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned.
