Job Summary

The Warehouse Executive is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods. The role supports operational planning, manpower coordination, inventory accuracy, and compliance with safety and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations

  • Coordinate and supervise daily inbound and outbound warehouse activities
  • Ensure timely receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods
  • Monitor workflow to meet operational KPIs and customer SLAs
  • Handle urgent operational issues and escalation when necessary

2. Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS or Excel systems
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and stock takes
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Ensure proper labelling, storage, and FIFO/FEFO practices

3. Manpower & Shift Coordination

  • Assign tasks and manpower according to daily workload
  • Coordinate shift schedules, overtime, and attendance tracking
  • Supervise warehouse assistants, forklift drivers, and temporary workers
  • Provide on‑the‑job guidance and basic training to new staff

4. Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare daily operational reports (inbound/outbound volume, productivity, manpower)
  • Ensure proper documentation such as DOs, invoices, packing lists, and checklists
  • Update management on operational performance and issues

5. Safety, Compliance & Housekeeping

  • Enforce workplace safety rules and proper PPE usage
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, WSH, and client requirements
  • Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards in the warehouse
  • Report incidents, damages, or near misses promptly

6. Client & Internal Coordination

  • Liaise with clients, transport teams, and internal departments
  • Support audits, inspections, and client visits

Assist in implementing process improvements and operational changes

Job Requirements
  • Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of qualifications)
  • 1–3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations
  • Familiar with warehouse processes and basic inventory control
  • Able to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays when required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting
  • Strong coordination, communication, and problem‑solving skills
