  • Provide operational support to the Chartering team.
  • Manage insurance matters and claims handling.
  • Handle charter hire payments and settlements.
  • Review ship managers’ operational and financial reports.
  • Coordinate drydocking planning and operational decisions.
  • Propose process improvements for efficiency.
  • Represent the company at meetings and events.

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily vessel operations in compliance with charter parties, regulations, and company procedures.
  • Coordinate closely with ship managers, charterers, brokers, agents, and vessels on all operational matters.
  • Monitor voyage performance, including delays, off‑hire, and deviations.
  • Provide pre‑ and post‑fixture operational support to the Chartering team.
  • Manage insurance matters, claims handling, and loss prevention with underwriters and P&I / Defence Clubs.
  • Handle charter hire payments, settlements, and charterer disputes.
  • Review ship managers’ operational and financial reports.
  • Coordinate drydocking planning and major operational decisions with ship managers.
  • Propose process improvements to optimise efficiency and resource utilisation.
  • Represent the company at meetings and industry events as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
