Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore seeks a Utility Systems Technician to monitor and maintain production equipment. Candidates should have a NITEC in Engineering and be open to 12-hour shifts. A Certificate of Competency for Boiler Attendant (Class 2) is preferred. This role involves regular maintenance activities and vendor coordination to ensure optimal operation of all systems.

Qualifications

Job description

Job Scope

• Monitor, operate, and maintain utility systems and production equipment such as Boiler steam generation system, Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP); Odour Containment System with chemical scrubber; Reverse Osmosis (RO) water system; Chillers etc
• Ensure all utility systems and production equipment start and operate efficiently and reliably.
• Conduct regular maintenance activities such as chemical top-ups for systems like WWTP and chemical scrubber. Removal and proper disposal of waste residues, such as flocculated sludge in WWTP
• Perform periodic inspection and preventive maintenance of all systems and production equipment
• Perform functional checks and monitor key operating parameters, maintaining accurate records.
• Execute primary maintenance programs and promptly identify early signs of malfunction or wear, reporting issues to superiors.
• Coordinate and liaise with vendors and contractors for maintenance works, spare parts procurement, and chemical supplies.
• Oversee contractor-led instrument calibration programs for utility systems and production equipment.
• Other ad hoc duties assigned

Job Requirements

• Min NITEC in Engineering and above
• Open to perform 12 hour shift
• Certificate of Competency for Boiler Attendant (Class 2) is an added advantage
