• Ensure compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and management of the Fabrication team.
• Monitor all Fabrication operations.
• Review technical drawings and address production issues.
• Control purchasing/inventory of associated welding consumables.

Job description

• Ensure compliance to be HS&E pollcies and procedures.
• Ensure 65 program is maintained in all workshop and storage areas.
• Providing day to day leadership and management of the Fabrication team.
• Participate in, and where necessary, lead LEAN initiatives to improve operational efficiencies to drive operational excellence.
• Monitor all Fabrication operations.
• Review all WPS prior to work starting and highlight any issues to welders and fitters.
• Ensure fabrication work orders are executed per production schedule.
• Select welding procedures, evaluate, and specify welding repairs and stress relief treatments, to ensure comblance win Iterationa ane customer Standares.
• Review technical drawings and ensure that production issues are addressed by the responsible departments.
• Participate in technical audit of 3rd party, sub-contract, fabrication contractors.
• Investigate Fabrication NCR's and implement corrective and preventative measures to meet agreed quality KPI'S.
• Ensure all Inspection equipment, welding plant, flux ovens, welding rod heaters and quivers are in calibration.
• Review tabnication routing and timing on works orders
• Control purchasing/inventory of all associated welding consumables.
• Ensure welding consumables are checked and maintained in climate-controlled store.
• Review actual times against routing times after work orders are completed.
• Manage employee overtime and vacation to meet current workload and schedule.
