Job summary

A leading fuel transport company in Singapore is seeking a Fuel Tanker-Transport Driver to safely transport various liquid fuels. Responsibilities include operating the tanker, conducting safety inspections, loading at facilities, and delivering products while providing excellent customer service. Candidates should possess a Class 4 driving license, a diploma or equivalent, and have at least 2 years of commercial driving experience, preferably with fuel or hazmat. Flexibility in working hours is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must hold a Class 4 driving license.
• 2 years of commercial driving experience required, with fuel or hazmat tanker experience preferred.
• Strong reading, computer, math, and verbal skills are necessary.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Job description

The primary role of the Fuel Tanker-Transport Driver is to safely drive road tanker with a maximum 28,000 Litres hazmat liquid capacity. The Tanker driver loads fuel (Gasolines, Distillates, Liquid Petroleum Products, Lubricants). The Tanker driver safely transports the load to the designated customers location.

Job Description

• To operate the vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, respecting customers property, other (motorist) and the environment
• To agree to follow company policies & procedures, safety policies, environmental stewardship
• Efficiently perform vehicle pre/post trip inspection in accordance with Company requirements
• Maintain cleanliness of company owned vehicle
• Utilize onboard/portable electronic devise to receive dispatched orders and record deliveries
• Correctly Load product at various loading facilities), adhering to the policies & procedures of the loading facility
• Deliver bulk fuel or bulk lubricants to customers, verifying the load is correct
• Participate in safety meetings and training as directed by the company

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent
