Job Title: Training Officer, DMC

Department: Data Management Centre

Reports To: Manager, Data Management Centre

Location: Chai Chee

Employment Type: Full-Time

The Training Officer will coordinate, deliver, and assess training programmes for persons with disabilities (PWDs) engaged in data management work. The Training Officer ensures that learning is accessible, inclusive, and aligned with operational goals, while fostering a safe, supportive, and empowering environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage structured training programmes tailored to the needs of the PWDs
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to align training objectives with project deliverables
  • Maintain training calendars, attendance records, and learner progress tracking
  • Train the PWDs in data entry projects and ensure project deliverables are met
  • Supervise and manage project work performed by the PWDs, ensuring quality and timeliness of the delivery
  • Be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of PWDs during training and work activities
  • Provide case management and counselling support to PWDs as needed
  • Maintain regular communication with caregivers, providing periodic updates on PWDs progress
  • Plan and coordinate outings and enrichment activities for PWDs to promote social inclusion
Requirements
  • Preferably with a Diploma in Business, Community Services, or other relevant fields
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience, ideally in training or working with persons with special needs
  • Passion for empowering persons with disabilities and supporting their skill development
  • Experience in inclusive training methodologies and assistive technologies is an advantage
