Job summary

A local restaurant in Singapore is looking for a dedicated supervisor to assist the Restaurant Manager in daily operations. Responsibilities include supervising service staff, handling cashiering duties, conducting interviews, and ensuring high service standards. Report to the Restaurant Manager or a management staff appointed by the Company.

  • Support and assist the Restaurant Manager in managing the restaurant.
  • Deputise in the absence of the Manager.
  • Supervise a team of service crew to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly.
  • Handle cashiering duties and perform banking duties.
  • Conduct interviews for new hires.
  • Guide and train new or existing Service Crew.
  • Constantly motivate and cultivate team spirit.
  • Maintain the highest service standards and ensure discipline and grooming among the service staff.
  • Assist in crew performance appraisals and confirmations.
  • Conduct daily checklists.
  • Continuously obtain customer feedback to ensure satisfaction.
  • Attend to customer complaints when they arise.
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager to monitor labour and F&B costing matters, including bi‑monthly stock takes.
  • Adhere to the Company’s standard operating procedures.
  • Carry out any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned.
