Job summary

A leading gas market firm in Singapore seeks an individual with experience in LNG trading to support deal capture and analytics. The ideal candidate must possess a quantitative degree, 2+ years of experience in Oil and Gas, and strong analytical skills. Qualifications

Job description

This role is required to the development of deep expertise in gas markets and core commercial skills over time.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Support deal capture and analytics for regional/global LNG trading activity, including spot, term, and structured transactions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of physical and derivatives trade data into company ETRM; reconcile details and perform quality checks, ensuring clear and timely communication with key internal stakeholders and adherence to reporting deadlines.
  • Assist the team by processing revisions, actualizations, and allocations as cargo statuses or contract terms change.
  • Perform daily analysis and reporting of profit & loss (P&L), mark-to-market (MTM), and risk exposure to inform trading and commercial decisions.
  • Track, explain, and report on daily P&L and MTM swings to traders and management.
  • Build and maintain exposure reconciliation and pricing forecasts.
  • Participate in onboarding new counterparties and facilitating Know Your Customer (KYC) processes.
  • Occasional travel may be required for team coverage, networking, or training.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2 Years of experience in Oil and Gas required, outstanding candidates can be considered on a case-by-base basis.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or above from a reputable university required. Preferred field of study is in a quantitative field.
  • Familiarity with Power BI a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, proficiency in Python or other coding language is a plus.
