Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists and supports the Centre in project activities and administrative matters.
  • Assist with website and social media updates.
  • Supports the day-to-day operations of the Centre (responsibilities include processing of procurement, performing data collection, hiring of research staff, logistics, managing space/facilities and providing other administrative functions).
  • Organises seminars and other events for the Centre.
  • Assists researchers and PIs with their queries (e.g. submission of claims etc).
  • Work closely with Office of Finance and HR on financial and HR matters relating to researchers.
Qualifications

Requirements

  • Diploma (preferably in Business Administration/Media Communications, Web Media/Events Management).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, Canva, WordPress and Zoom hosting required.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and simple video editing for YouTube, managing social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook would be a strong advantage.
  • A team player who is pro‑active, has a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills.
  • Enjoys working in a dynamic environment, with effective multitasking skills.
