The incumbent will manage the full spectrum of management accounting, including budgeting, financial performance analysis, and compliance. Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation of Financial Performance Report to MOH.
  • Prepare financial data and analysis for P&L by discipline performance.
  • Provide variance analysis for budget vs actual comparisons.
  • Conduct cash counts and stocktake.
  • Assist with the external and internal audits.

Job Description

You will be responsible for the full spectrum of management accounting of the hospitals. This include preparing the yearly operating budgeting, costing of clinical services, analyzing & reporting of financial performance of departments on a monthly/quarterly basis.

You are expected to work closely with departments to provide financial support, liaise with NHG HQ and Finance Shared Services to ensure timely and accurate reporting of monthly & year-end activities. You will also assist in any other admin functions and duties assigned.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparation of Financial Performance Report to MOH
  • Prepare financial data and analysis for P&L by discipline performance
  • Prepare monthly schedules for purchased manpower GL
  • Provide variance analysis for budget vs actual, actual vs prior year actual comparisons
  • Post monthly journal entries
Budget & Projection
  • Review operating expense and workload submissions
  • Compute cost savings for initiatives and projects
Fee Revision
  • Prepare and implement fee revision exercises.
Compliance & Internal Controls
  • Conduct cash counts and stocktake
  • Review and approve staff claims and expenses in line with policies
  • Assist with the external and internal audits.
  • Compute cost savings for initiatives and projects
Other Ad-hocs
  • Support the finance department with any other tasks as assigned.
