Job summary

A local energy company in Singapore seeks a dedicated Professional to oversee gas making plants' operations. The role involves preparing production figures, ensuring efficient operation, and maintaining safety compliance. Candidates should possess a diploma in relevant engineering fields and have at least 2 years of experience in oil & gas or petrochemical settings. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills are vital for success in this role that operates on a 3-shift cycle.

Qualifications

  • Ability to track utilities consumption and gas production figures.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare gas production figures and charts for analysis and archive.
  • Keep track of utilities consumption in Senoko Gasworks.
  • Responsible for the proper and efficient operation of gas making plants.
  • Attend to faults and breakdowns on gas making plants.
  • Liaise with contractors for maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure observance of all safety regulations.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare gas production figures and charts for analysis and archive.
  • Keep track of utilities consumption in Senoko Gasworks.
  • Responsible for the proper and efficient operation of gas making plants and its ancillaries.
  • Attend to faults and breakdowns on gas making plants and their ancillaries.
  • Attend to matters relating to production, quality control, storage and distribution of town gas from the gasworks.
  • Initiate and liaise with maintenance supervisor or contractors to conduct repair or servicing work for the plants and ancillaries.
  • Ensure there is proper observance of all safety regulations and that all works done by personnel under his charge comply with the Workplace Safety and Health Act, the Company’s safety and operation manuals and other relevant local regulations.
Pre-requisites:
  • Diploma/ Nitec in Mechanical / Chemical/ Electrical Engineering .
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in an oil & gas industry or in a petrochemical plant environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Possess good interpersonal and communications skills.

Work schedule: 3-shift cycle
