Job summary

A leading energy provider in Singapore seeks an individual for O&M tasks related to District Cooling Plants. The role involves executing daily operations and maintenance tasks, participating in meetings, and ensuring equipment functionality. Candidates should possess a Higher NITEC/NITEC in Engineering and have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in chiller-related operations. This position requires the ability to work shifts and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in chiller-related hands on operations and maintenance.
• Must be able to perform normal and/or shift duties – 12-hour shift or other shift pattern.

Job description

What You'll Do

1. Assist in the execution of District Cooling Plants' Operations & Maintenance (O&M) works
2. Attend daily toolbox and work meeting conducted by Engineer and Supervisor.
3. Plan, schedule, and execute daily routine and non-routine O&M tasks and troubleshooting per SOP/Method of Statement (MS)/Risk Assessment (RA) and as assigned by Engineers/Supervisors (e.g., operations, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation tasks).
4. Carry out daily walk-through plant inspection.
5. Upkeep maintenance records, work area and tools
6. Assist the Engineers in the sourcing and purchasing of spare parts
7. Promptly investigate and report equipment defects, deficiencies, and abnormalities
8. May be assigned to support district cooling works at other project locations after necessary training and to work independently where required (e.g. 1 staff per shift)
9. Perform any assignment/activity/work related to the role

What You'll Need:

1. Higher NITEC / NITEC in any Engineering from a recognized educational institute
2. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in chiller-related hands on operations and maintenance
3. Must be able to perform normal and/or shift duties – 12- hour shift or other shift pattern as per project requirement
4. Good analytical and communication skills with positive attitude
5. Willing to learn attitude with strong team player
