We are looking for a Technical UX/UI/AX Designer who bridges the gap between design and engineering—someone who can design valid AX (AI Native, not just AI Enabled) flows and implementing them using modern frontend technologies and AI tooling.
Role Overview
In this role, you will be a hybrid between a designer and a frontend developer. You will use AI-assisted workflows (Cursor, Claude) to rapidly prototype and implement user interfaces. Your goal is to design and build the "last mile" of the user interface, ensuring that our AI features feel natural, responsive, and human-centric.
Key Responsibilities
- Core UI/UX Design: Design elegant, responsive interfaces for our web and mobile virtual room platforms using tools like Figma, and translate them directly into production-ready HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
- AX (AI Experience) Prototyping: AX (AI Experience) Strategy: Lead the design of "Human-AI Interaction." Define how users initiate, control, and receive feedback from AI features
- Prototyping AI Flows: Create wireframes and interactive prototypes that account for the non-deterministic nature of AI (i.e., designing for "happy paths" as well as error states, low-confidence answers, and loading times)
- AI-Assisted Development: Utilize tools like Cursor and Claude to accelerate your coding workflow, rapidly spinning up components and experimenting with different UI logic for AI features.
- Component System: Maintain and expand our frontend component library, ensuring consistency in design and code.
- Collaboration: Work deeply with the Full Stack Engineering team. You speak their language and can commit code, making the handoff process seamless.
Preferred Qualifications :
Technical Proficiency
- UX/UI Prototyping: Mastery of Figma (including auto-layout, variables, and prototyping). Good understanding of HTML/CSS/Javascript is beneficial for communicating with devs.
- AI Coding Fluency: Proven experience using Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot to write, refactor, and debug code. You view AI not just as a feature to design for, but as a tool to build with.
Design & AX Strategy
- AI/Human Interaction: Experience or deep interest in Agentic Workflows. You understand that designing for an "Agent" is different than designing a static tool—it involves autonomy, personality, and trust.
- Complex Systems: Experience designing for EdTech, HRTech, or enterprise dashboards where data density is high.
- Visual Polish: Mastery of Figma (Auto-layout, Variables) to ensure the vision is beautiful before it becomes code.
Workforce Development / Adult Learning Theories
- WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) or equivalent Learning & Development qualifications in Adult Learning Theories
- Familiarity with latest Workforce Development / HR Development strategies or SkillsFuture Skills-First concepts
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
