Job summary

A technology company in Singapore is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to ensure optimal product performance and quality. This role involves managing product definitions, leading quality improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates should possess a diploma in engineering and have 1–5 years of relevant experience in technical support, preferably within the aviation industry. Strong problem-solving skills and a dedication to continuous improvement are essential. This position offers a one-year contract with a possibility of conversion based on performance.

Qualifications

  • 1–5 years of relevant hands-on experience in a manufacturing or technical support environment.
  • Experience working in the aviation industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day technical support to production, ensuring optimal product performance and quality.
  • Manage product definition and evolution, working closely with IPT (Integrated Product Team).
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement quality improvement activities (8D, FTQP).
  • Coordinate new product introductions and support customer return investigations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen) and maintain key KPIs (R1, FPY).
  • Collaborate with Design Authority and cross-functional teams across departments.
