Job description

This role will lead APAC Technical Service and support business growth with customized solutions for key customers. Operate/manage APAC customer technical service and lab activities, and collaborate internally and externally to provide differentiation and technical value. Strengthen partnerships with key F/H (food service/hospitality/hotel/restaurant, etc.) customers as a recipe development and technical dialogue partner.

1. Technical Service and Key Project Lead
  • Manage overall technical service for related products in APAC market and supervise lab activities associated with technical service.
  • Develop and oversee the execution roadmap, incorporating customer needs from product concept to recipe development, bench trials, and pilot tests.
  • Package samples, recipes and application guides for proposals and provide them as solutions and create new business opportunities.
  • Identify priority target customers and opportunity factors by analyzing customer needs, market and taste trends, and competitor trends and propose solutions.
2. Application / F&H - Key Account Technical Partnership Lead
  • Drive the technical direction of customer menu development/renewal assignments based on F/H recipe and menu development experience.
  • Formulate technical strategy and project roadmap for each key account, and support mid- to long-term pipeline operations.
  • Lead technical presentations, research dialogues, and joint development with major F/H and global/regional key accounts.
  • Conduct technical sales activities such as customer meetings, technical presentations, and tastings/demos.
3. Product and Flavor Advancement and Technical Support
  • Provide troubleshooting and post-sales support for quality and process issues, and reflect global/regional trends into the business.
  • Propose reformulation directions and review execution by analyzing the taste, quality, and cost structure of major category products.
  • Based on customer and market feedback, define flavor and quality improvement initiatives and prioritize execution with actionable plans.
  • Standardize troubleshooting and outcomes into technical materials, share them internally/externally, and apply them to future projects.
Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in product development/technical service within food, seasoning, and flavor industry.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or above in food engineering, food science, food processing, or related fields; Master's degree preferred.
  • Practical experience in recipe development and menu application in F/H channel is required.
  • Proven experience working in FMCG or B2B ingredient/flavor companies, with a track record of leading projects for customers across the APAC region.
  • Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience in the entire product development cycle (concept→ development→ commercialization→ post-launch management).
  • High level of expertise in application and seasoning design, as well as recipe development.
  • Strong communication skills to conduct technology-oriented meetings and presentations with major F/H and key accounts.
  • Proven problem-solving and project management abilities, with knowledge of processes like powderprocessing, sauce manufacturing, and drying technology.
  • Deep understanding of consumer taste preferences and food culture across APAC countries, with the ability to incorporate them into applications.
  • Proficiency in English (for meetings, presentations, and report writing) is required; proficiency in Korean or other languages is a plus.
  • Salary commensurate with experience.
