Job summary

The position requires a Diploma or Degree in a relevant engineering discipline and 2-5 years of experience in technical sales or engineering roles. Job description
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Pre-Sales Support
  • Support the sales team in promoting data center and M&E solutions.
  • Engage clients to understand technical and operational requirements.
  • Prepare technical proposals, specifications, and quotations for tenders, RFQs, and RFPs.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.
Technical & Engineering Support
  • Provide pre‑sales technical support including system design and solution configuration.
  • Conduct site surveys and technical assessments when required.
  • Work closely with internal engineering, project, and procurement teams to ensure solution feasibility and cost effectiveness.
  • Assist in tender clarification and value engineering exercises.
Data Center Solutions
  • Support solutions related to data center infrastructure including:
  • Power systems (UPS, generators, LV/MV systems, PDUs)
  • Cooling systems (CRAC, in‑row cooling, containment)
  • Racks, structured cabling, and raised flooring
  • Monitoring systems (BMS, DCIM)
  • Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as TIA, ISO, Uptime Institute, and local authority requirements.
Coordination & Documentation
  • Liaise with suppliers and principals for technical details, pricing, and compliance documents.
  • Support smooth handover from sales to project execution teams.
  • Maintain proper technical documentation and sales records.
  • Keep updated on market trends, competitor activities, and new technologies.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Building Services, HVAC, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in technical sales, pre‑sales, or engineering roles related to data centers, M&E, or infrastructure projects.
  • Candidates with an HVAC background are particularly valued, as they tend to have a smoother learning curve with liquid cooling solutions.
Technical Skills
  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and M&E systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and schematics.
  • Knowledge of data center standards and best practices is an advantage.
Soft Skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to translate technical concepts into commercial solutions.
