- Conduct accurate measurements and calculations to ensure precision in dimensions, cut-outs, and joinery.
- Recommend appropriate materials and finishes based on design and functional needs.
- Collaborate with fabrication teams to clarify designs and resolve any technical issues.
- Prepare and maintain up-to-date documentation, including shop drawings, cutting lists, and specification sheets.
- Conduct site measurements and verifications when required.
- Ensure all outputs meet quality, safety, and delivery standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in carpentry or joinery design (minimum 5 years preferred).
- Proficiency in Colehom software or other CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
- Strong understanding of woodworking materials, hardware, and modular systems.
- Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in liaising with clients, contractors, and workshop teams is an advantage.
