The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in freight or logistics trade, hold a diploma in Supply Chain or Logistics, and possess strong communication and analytical skills. This role involves overseeing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and resolving shipment issues. Shift work and availability on public holidays are required.

• Liaise with teams to resolve shipment issues.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Customer Service, Freight Planner and Warehouse, to timely resolve any issues related to shipments.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, export controls, and security requirements.
• Ensure all assigned jobs are completed EOB.
• Ensure cargo pre-lodge before document flows down to Warehouse Office.
• Any other roles as required by Management.

Specific Accountabilities

• Lead, coach, and supervise
• Allocate workloads, monitor performance, and ensure service quality standards are met
• Provide on-the-job training and ensure SOP compliance

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Well spoken and written English.
• Good knowledge and use of Microsoft Application (ie. Words, Excel etc). · Good with systems and software usage.
• Positive mindset, team player and high desire for learning.
• Detail oriented, analytical, and proactive in identifying and addressing operational challenges.
• A self-starter who is resourceful and innovative in driving continuous improvement.
• Adaptable to fast-paced, high-volume operational setting with a commitment to maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency.
