YOUR ROLE

You are responsible at our client's engagements to lead a whole project from start to end (pre-sales, inception, discovery, delivery, completion, handover). You have the capabilities to lead toward successful delivery, maintain strong engagement with our clients, communicate clear and focused messages to different parties, and facilitate interactions between the different teams and stakeholders.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
PROJECT LEADERSHIP
  • You are expected to maintain and uphold the transparency on the indicators representing the health of the project to the teams and the client.
  • You maintain a good situation awareness to the team of project scope/requirements vs progress, and drive resolution of team level impediments.
  • You are responsible for overseeing the PALO IT delivery team(s) in terms of the quality of service provided for the project. As the customer advocate, you will relay feedback and elevate issues within internal teams.
ENGAGEMENT
  • You are a trusted advisor and partner to the client in all matters relating to the project.
  • You manage the P&L with the account manager to ensure the financial goals of the project are achieved.
COMMUNICATION
  • You commit to facilitating delivery success and serving as the go-to point for clients' various aspects of product delivery. i.e. you will act as a strategic liaison between senior client stakeholders, our project team(s) and sales team.
  • Serve as a liaison between all stakeholders and the teams, as well as bridge between conflicting needs.
  • You document reports (project health, key highlights, RAID, steering committees, etc) and communicate them to external and internal stakeholders.
  • You prepare for and facilitate workshops/meetings by establishing the framework for bringing team members and stakeholders to valuable and tangible outcomes.
  • You create customized agendas and facilitate workshops to align team members and stakeholders on the product to deliver and ways of working.
AGILITY
  • You coach and guide your team to improve the way they work by focusing on team empowerment, collaboration, skills acquirement, and product value.
  • You coach clients on product ownership such as vision, release plan, backlog management, value identification, and stakeholder management.
  • You provide the team with focus and guide them toward improving the way they work.
  • You teach the basics of Scrum to the team (client included), explain the scrum events, & artifacts.
  • You are also able and willing to facilitate scrum events: planning, review, retrospectives.
YOUR PROFILE
  • You enjoy leading and managing teams, deciding approaches, communicating, organizing, and setting goals, and thus improving the direction and efficiency of teams.
  • You have a natural ability to understanding the client’s business landscape and challenges.
  • You have strong communication skills to engage/drive discussions with senior stakeholders and to facilitate interactions with all parties and individual team members.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience leading software development projects in an agile/iterative environment (discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance).
  • You have the knowledge and skills on servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
  • You can play the role of a Scrum Master or/and a Product Owner according to the type of engagement.
