Job summary

A leading personnel service provider in Singapore is seeking a customer service representative for tax inquiries. The role involves responding to taxpayer queries, promoting digital services, and performing administrative tasks. Candidates should have at least an A level or Diploma, with a preference for those with customer service experience. The position is contract-based, lasting at least 3 months, with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Compensation is $13.60 per hour.

Qualifications

Job Scope

• Customer facing tasks such as answering taxpayers' general individual income tax enquiry email. You may be required to initiate a call to taxpayer when attending to such enquiries.
• Promote and nudge taxpayers in the usage of e-services and chatbot.
• Any other administrative work that may be assigned to you from time to time.
• Encourage the fulfilment of taxpayer's tax obligations through promoting digital services, attend to written individual income tax enquiry and day‑to‑day administrative work that may be assigned.

Location: Newton
Duration: at least 3 Months, subjected to possible extension
Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays (8.30am to 5.30pm)
Salary: $13.60/H

Requirements

• Qualification: minimally A level or Diploma
• Candidates will be provided with general tax training in individual income tax.
• Candidates aspiring to work in the tax industry or had prior work experiences in tax are welcome to apply.
• Prior customer service background preferred.
• Good written communication skills.
• Meticulous and organised in handling confidential data.
• Self‑motivated individual and able to handle at least 20 cases per day.
