Job description
Talent Acquisition Advisor

Department: Core - People & Culture

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: Singapore

Reporting To: Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

Description

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition (TA) Advisor to join our global People & Culture (P&C) team, with responsibility for driving best-in-class recruitment outcomes across both early careers and experienced hiring across Japan and the wider APAC region. Please note that this role will be based in Tokyo, Japan.

You will own and deliver the full recruitment lifecycle — from proactive sourcing and attraction through to assessment, selection, and offer management. This includes leading our graduate and intern recruitment strategies across APAC, working closely with universities, managing marketing campaigns, and coordinating recruitment activity for entry-level talent.

You will also be a key partner to hiring managers for experienced roles, advising on inclusive recruitment strategies, running tailored hiring campaigns, and championing a seamless, high-quality candidate experience.

Given the collaborative nature of our team and the small size of our local office, this role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our P&C Operations Advisor, and to occasionally support broader P&C Operations and Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives — gaining valuable exposure to the full employee lifecycle.

We are a close-knit, high-performing, and supportive team that values curiosity, accountability, and shared success. If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and enjoy working across a variety of projects and talent areas, this could be the ideal next step for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for early careers and experienced roles in Japan and APAC
  • Design and execute proactive sourcing and attraction strategies using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and local platforms
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and internal stakeholders on recruitment needs and processes
  • Lead the graduate and intern recruitment cycle: marketing, campus engagement, event planning, and university partnerships
  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience through clear communication, timely updates, and objective assessment
  • Deliver compelling and inclusive job descriptions and strategic hiring plans
  • Attend and organise in-person and virtual attraction events (e.g. careers fairs, Aurora insight days)
  • Partner with Early Careers and Marketing teams to enhance employer branding and talent campaigns
  • Report on recruitment progress and share insights with stakeholders
  • Contribute to cross-regional TA projects and process improvements
  • Collaborate with the P&C Operations Advisor and provide support for onboarding, offboarding, and L&D delivery as required
What we are looking for

Required attributes:

  • Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment (sourcing to offer) within a complex, fast-paced organisation
  • Experience managing both early careers (graduate/intern) and experienced hiring processes
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across regional and international teams
  • Familiarity with the APAC early careers landscape and university systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns and priorities effectively
  • Experience designing or supporting employer branding and talent attraction campaigns
  • Fluency in English (C1) and native or JLPT N1-level Japanese
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
  • A proactive, curious mindset and enthusiasm for experimenting, learning, and improving

Desirable attributes

  • Skilled in tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and data-driven recruitment approaches
  • Experience in volume hiring and recruitment marketing, ideally within professional services
  • Knowledge of inclusive selection and assessment design, particularly for early careers
  • International outlook with strong local insights into hiring trends and practices
  • Passion for broader P&C topics including onboarding and development
What we offer
  • A fun, informal and international work culture
  • Commuting allowance
  • Private health insurance
  • Access to the Aurora Academy, our training programme offering a range of opportunities to develop your skills
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), offering a complete support network that offers expert advice and compassionate guidance 24/7/365, covering a wide range of personal and professional aspects
