Job description

Responsibilities:

· Provide technical deployments for all current and new projects.

· Gather technical requirements and information to recommend appropriate solutions.

· Perform Linux system installations, end-to-end/pilot testing in staging and production environments, solution verification, and fault escalation.

· Diagnose, isolate, troubleshoot, and fix technical issues at hardware and software levels.

· Perform troubleshooting and apply patch fixes for hardware and software issues.

· Exhibit responsibility on all assigned tasks, including working after office hours if required to meet tasks or project deadlines.

· Demonstrate the ability to execute tasks, perform timely follow-ups, and ensure customer satisfaction while instilling quality in every aspect of the job.

· Handle any other tasks as required due to the nature of the job.

· Travel to customer site for onsite implementation as required.

· Overseas travel may be required.

Technical Skills/Experience:

· Experience in installing, managing, and troubleshooting Linux Operating systems such as RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu.

· Experience with HA clustering, HA Proxy, BIND DNS, Apache, Nginx, LDAP, SMTP, NTP, NFS, SNMP, PRTG, etc.

· Experience with KVM, Microsoft Hyper-V, and VMware.

· Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.

· Knowledge of MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, etc.

· Understanding of cloud/enterprise networking, security best practices, and networking technologies (switching, routing, firewall, VLAN, TCP/IP).

· Knowledge of OS/Application security hardening.

· Experience in Linux shell/Bash scripting.

· Knowledge of Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes (preferred).

· Proficient in system design, installation, troubleshooting, automation, and upgrades.

· Experience in backup and recovery, monitoring, capacity planning, version control, and security standards.

Requirements:

· Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunications), Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

· Minimum 3-5 years of Technical Work Experience in the IT/Telecom industry.

· Strong communication skills for troubleshooting, gathering requirements, and recommending solutions.

· Proven experience in systems engineering, systems administration, network administration, or software engineering.
