Job Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including corporate clients, financial institutions, private equity firms, and other stakeholders within the investment banking ecosystem.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their financial needs and providing strategic advice on capital structure, financing options, and investment opportunities.

  • Engage with prospective clients to generate new business and identify potential deal opportunities through networking, industry events, and market research.

  • Coordinate the bank’s marketing efforts to promote services such as syndicated loans, leveraged buyouts (LBOs), asset financing, and other structured finance products.

  • Lead the origination of deals for the bank, identifying new business opportunities, negotiating terms, and structuring financial solutions that meet client needs and align with the bank's strategic objectives.

  • Take the lead in structuring and executing complex financial transactions, including syndicated loans, leveraged buyouts (LBOs), asset financing, and other corporate financing solutions.

  • Work closely with internal teams such as senior bankers, risk management, legal, and compliance to ensure smooth execution of transactions.

  • Prepare comprehensive credit proposals, applications, and reviews for presentation to the bank’s credit committee or other decision-making bodies.

  • Work closely with senior management to review strategic priorities and business goals, ensuring alignment between client needs and the bank's objectives.


Requirements


  • Singaporean or Permanent Resident

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field

  • At least 10 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on business development, relationship management, and deal origination.

  • Expertise in structuring and executing complex financial transactions such as syndicated loans, leveraged buyouts (LBOs), asset financing, and corporate financing solutions.

  • Strong understanding of credit evaluation, financial modeling, and risk analysis.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Microsoft Excel and financial modeling platforms.

  • Due to the nature of the duties, occasional travel may be required.

  • Experience in specific sectors or industries such as energy, real estate, technology, or healthcare.
