Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Client Portfolio Management : Lead and expand a portfolio of Asia Pacific corporates and multinational clients by delivering customised structured trade and working capital solutions to achieve sustainable revenue growth.
- Strategic Advisory : Act as a trusted partner to CFOs, corporate treasurers, and senior finance leaders, offering strategic guidance on liquidity management, working capital optimisation, and global transaction banking needs.
- Structured Trade Expertise : Apply deep knowledge of receivables and payables financing, inventory financing, prepayment structures, documentary trade instruments, and guarantees to design and implement tailored client solutions.
- Business Origination & Deal Execution : Source, structure, and close new opportunities across trade and working capital financing, ensuring smooth delivery of solutions aligned with clients' operational and strategic objectives.
- Market Intelligence : Stay abreast of regional and global market developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends to anticipate client requirements and enhance competitive positioning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner closely with relationship managers, product teams, legal, compliance, and operations across Asia and global hubs to deliver integrated and seamless client solutions.
- Sales & Growth Strategy : Develop and execute commercial strategies for the Asia Pacific region to deepen client relationships and grow wallet share.
The Successful Applicant
- Experience : At least 12 years of frontline GTB sales experience in Singapore, with strong expertise in documentary trade, guarantees, structured trade, and working capital solutions; experience managing MNCs, SOEs, conglomerates, and large corporates is essential.
- Market Knowledge : Strong understanding of clients' strategic drivers, regional / global market trends, and evolving regulatory landscapes.
- Commercial Strength : Proven track record in originating, structuring, and executing complex trade and working capital deals.
- Mindset : Self-driven, resilient, and able to navigate internal complexity; combines independence with strong collaboration skills and a proactive, entrepreneurial approach.
- Strategic Thinking : Able to develop clear targeting strategies and execute them effectively through a phased approach.
