A technology firm in Singapore is looking for a Support Engineer to assist in testing semiconductor devices in both Test floors and Engineering Laboratories. The role requires a minimum of 2 years' experience in semiconductor manufacturing, preferably with hands-on skills in component soldering and troubleshooting test setups. Good communication skills are crucial for collaborating with engineers and generating reports. This position offers an opportunity for innovation and efficiency in day-to-day operations.
We are looking for Support Engineer who will be able to support our Hardware support. The candidate should have exposure in Test Semiconductor Manufacturing Environment especially on Final test environment with at least 2 years working experience working on different handler and handler kit set up Experience in troubleshooting and ability to resolve test setup is required. The candidate should have at least hands-on experience on any of the following Test Equipment: Hontech (Non-ATC/ ATC, Tri-temp) as well as Eclipse Hot/ Ambient and Eclipse Tri-temp ATC handlers.
A good communication skill is required as the job will require communicating with Engineers and generating reports. Hands on experience to qualify handler kits and good knowledge and understanding handler capability, assessing if the handler selected by PTE during handler kit request is acceptable or not. Counter proposing and guiding the PTE team to correct handler model and plan for handler upgrade is a crucial skill needed for this position
The position will call for Line sustaining support in both Test floor and Engineering Laboratory. The support will include helping in testing devices based on the instructions from Test Engineers. Co-working with handlers, TCU suppliers, is crucial requirement for this position. Innovation and efficiency is added scope for this job function apart from day-to-day work load.
Diploma in Engineering preferably Electrical/electromechanical Engineering
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Test Semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Preferably with hands-on experience on component soldering.
