Position Title: Senior Procurement / Supply Chain Executive (Sourcing) Reporting To: Supply Chain Manager, Singapore Headquarters Location: Singapore
Key Responsibilities
1. Supplier Sourcing and Development
- Conduct market research and supplier sourcing based on the requirements of ongoing construction projects, covering building materials, equipment, and construction-related supplies.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop qualified supplier resources to support project needs.
2. Procurement Execution and Coordination
- Support headquarters and project teams in procurement activities, including requests for quotation (RFQ), price comparison, negotiation, and contract recommendations.
- Track procurement processes for materials and equipment to ensure alignment with project schedules, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
3. Supply Chain Management Support
- Assist in the implementation of centralized procurement strategies and framework agreements, and support the adoption of standardized procurement processes at the project level.
- Maintain close coordination with the internal supply chain team to facilitate procurement approvals, import clearance, and timely delivery of materials.
4. Supplier Evaluation and Compliance
- Participate in regular supplier performance evaluations to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Assist in resolving coordination issues and disputes between project sites and suppliers.
Requirements
1. Education
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Engineering Management, or a related field.
2. Work Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or project materials management.
- Experience with construction-related materials and equipment is an advantage.
3. Skills and Competencies
- Practical knowledge of supplier sourcing, quotation comparison, and contract negotiation.
- Familiarity with procurement compliance procedures and project materials management workflows.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with ERP or procurement systems is an advantage.
4. Personal Attributes
- Strong communication, coordination, and execution skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a multicultural working environment.
- Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin for daily work requirements; working proficiency in English (reading and writing) is required.
