Job summary

A leading staffing firm is seeking a Supply Chain Executive in Singapore who will manage demand planning, inventory control, and vendor management. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in logistics/supply chain and be proficient in SAP and Excel. Responsibilities include coordinating shipments, preparing monthly reports, and liaising with suppliers. This position promises a five-day work week and is located in the West Side (Tuas area).

Qualifications

  • Able to converse in English and Mandarin.
  • Well versed with SAP and Excel.

Overview

Our client is one of the world's leading bedding manufacturers and headquartered in Singapore for its south-east Asian operation. They are looking to fill a position of Supply Chain Executive to ensure Demand Planning & Scheduling, Inventory Control, Procurement & Vendor Management and Logistic & Warehouse Management are met.

Responsibilities
  • Read and respond to emails.
  • Prepare monthly S&OP.
  • Work closely with sales coordinators regarding purchase/order requests, updating stock availability, etc.
  • Coordinate with warehouse operatives on stocktaking to ensure minimal discrepancy.
  • Handle inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Verify invoices and ensure minimal discrepancy.
  • Update inbound and outbound stocks using Excel and SAP accurately.
  • Work closely with delivery vendors to ensure goods are delivered to customers.
  • Liaise with factory and suppliers on changes in delivery dates, products, pricing, cancellations, etc.
  • Administrative tasks (e.g., filing).
  • Process goods movement using SAP system.
  • Work closely with suppliers for quotations and material codes.
  • Work with warehouse personnel to ensure stock movement and quantity accuracy.
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate all activities related to sourcing and procurement of necessary raw materials and supplies.
  • Minimize materials data entry errors and rectify root causes for any discrepancies.
  • Other ad-hoc duties.
